US 2012

A country decides

November 7, 2012

Florida still undecided

Florida remains the final state not to have declared a winner in the 2012 Presidential race, after Alaska awarded its electoral college votes to Mitt Romney.
It looks increasingly likely that the sunshine state will however favour President Obama, with 98% of votes having been counted and Obama leading the count by 0.7% – a margin big enough for a recount not to be called.
